    Embrace the role of a Regional Automation Engineer at a prominent heavy industrial organization, working within our client's operations team.

    This role is crucial in maintaining and optimizing their heavy manufacturing and mining processes.


    Based at their regional offices in Nashville, Tennessee, the successful candidate will serve multiple sites across the region offering specialized technical support for our client's process control system.


    Our client, a global leader with a presence in over 20 countries, is a distinguished producer and supplier of diverse products across industries.


    Role and Responsibilities:
    Engineering, maintenance, installation, and programming of PLCs, SCADA/HMI, and SPC systems.
    Management and supervision of instrument and controls tuning and maintenance.
    Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low to medium voltage electrical systems.
    Optimization of process rate, efficiency, and waste reduction.
    Plant IT support for computer hardware and software.


    Education and Experience:
    Required automation experience, including electrical system design and maintenance in heavy manufacturing or mining.
    5+ years of PLC and HMI programming experience with Allen Bradley and Wonderware.
    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred; relevant associate degree or equivalent work experience accepted.


    Skills and Behaviors:
    Proficiency in PLC system design, VFDs, HMI, Wonderware, and process instrumentation.
    Experience with Allen Bradley, Modicon, Control Logix, Archestra, System Platform, and AutoCAD.
    Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
    Flexibility to work seven days a week, shift work, and adapt to schedule changes.
    Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
    Willingness to work in challenging environmental conditions and travel up to 40%.
