Duties:


  • Serves as a Catering Business Coordinator responsible for providing expert advice and assistance to authorized clientele on various banquet and catering offerings provided by Community Club.
  • Creates, administers and manages event party contracts coordinating event details to club staff including set up, audio visual, service, culinary, and accounting.
  • Incumbent exercises discretion and independent judgment, negotiates menus, services, and set up to prepare contracts that coordinates services typically, but not limited to, food and beverage operations.
  • Assists in establishing immediate and longrange business goals and objectives to meet customer demands and requirements and ensures changes are accomplished optimizing efficiency of operations and maximization of catering facilities.
  • Ensures that fiscal objectives are met or exceeded including compliance with regulatory requirements and needs of the market served.

  • Applicant must be willing to work rotating shifts, as well as holidays, evenings and weekends.

Qualifications:


  • One year of specialized work experience required that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position.
  • Must possess exceptional communication and people skills in customer service and problem resolution.

PCS Costs

  • Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.

Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials

  • This is a paybanded position.
  • Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
    _If authorized, only regular (fulltime, parttime, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay._ When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of nonovertime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of nonovertime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).

  • Incentives will not be paid.

Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances

  • Nonforeign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
