Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. As a Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of construction projects and providing detailed proposals. This is a crucial role in our organization, as your estimates will directly impact project budgets and timelines.

```Duties```

Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and materials required

Collaborate with clients and others to gather necessary information for accurate estimates

Utilize software to prepare detailed cost estimates

Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and identify any potential challenges or opportunities

Prepare comprehensive proposals that outline the scope of work, pricing details, and project timelines

Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services

Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints

Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to provide ongoing support and guidance regarding cost control measures

```Requirements```

Proven experience in construction estimating Electrical and Drywall

Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques

Proficiency in using estimating software

Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

Strong negotiation skills to obtain competitive pricing from vendors and subcontractors

Familiarity with project management principles and practices

Bilingual Spanish
