    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Document Processing Team Lead / Floater is responsible for the daily preparation, scanning, indexing and verification of records/charts. In addition to standard Document Processing Specialist duties, the Team Lead / Floater monitors and directs work-flow and employee productivity at multiple sites. The Team Lead is also often the primary trainer for new hires. In addition, Team Leads assist with other administrative duties as assigned and effectively communicate all issues that impact the quality or timely completion of the production process to the Imaging Supervisor and Regional Director of Operations.

    Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 11:00am to 7:30pm, $16.00/hour

    Essential Functions:

    • Assist supervisors in the daily workflow and production of operations as directed.
    • Displays effective and professional communication with internal and external customers.
    • Adhere to all HIPAA and confidentiality policies.
    • Assist in the training of new hires by utilizing operational knowledge of production processes and STAT Informatic Solutions module based training programs.
    • Check queue list and emails daily and respond to inquiries in a timely fashion and accordingly.
    • Assist as directed with daily chart quality control and processing of reports.
    • Serve as back-up to the supervisor as needed.
    • Adhere to all policies, guidelines, programs, and procedures in the employee handbook.
    • Assist with monitoring time and attendance and help suggest work schedules for production team members to ensure completion of production within established guidelines.
    • Participate in periodic team member meetings.
    • Accurately perform all job functions of a Document Processing Specialist.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    Requirements:

    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

    Team Leads must be able to communicate (both written and oral) clearly, proactively and concisely with all keystakeholders, manage their time by organizing and completing work within given deadlines, and make critical decisions while following company policies, guidelines, and procedures. Team Leads must also be able to adapt to changes in order to effectively work within new work structures, processes, requirements, and/or cultures. Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely fashion. Must be detail-oriented in order to perform work accurately and thoroughly. Proven ability to establish and maintain long-term customer relationships, building trust, and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations. Must have the willingness to take initiative to make prompt, proactive steps towards problem resolution, capable of handling antagonistic situations, and able to provide guidance and feedback to other team members as needed; facilitating completion of a work assignment or to defend a position or idea. Team Leads must also be capable of making critical decisions while following company procedures.

    ADDITIONAL SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

    Must have either a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) with a minimum of 6 months to 1-year related experience. Some college preferred, but not required. Must be proficient with computers, office equipment, and computer software necessary to perform and complete daily production. Thorough knowledge of federal and state information regulations and medical record keeping requirements, when applicable. Must beable to pass pre-employment screening based on Client and Company guidelines and policies

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    This position is typically performed in an office setting within a hospital or warehouse environment. Long periodsof sitting and or standing may be required. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate all office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports. Team Leads must remain flexible and available to provide staffing assistance for any/all last-minute projects or emergency situations.
