    Responsibilities
    • Act as a professional accountable for clinical laboratory testing essential for patient care and diagnosis
    • Conduct routine and specialized laboratory procedures, ensure quality control, conduct preventative maintenance, handle minor equipment repairs, manage inventory, and compile statistical data
    • Engage in quality assurance, enhance performance through improvement initiatives, participate in new employee training, and complete proficiency testing as required
    Qualifications

    Job Requirements:

    • Hold a Baccalaureate Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or an Associate degree in Medical Lab Technician studies, chemistry, physics, or biological science

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • ASCP certification or equivalent
      • Specific certifications such as M(ASCP), H(ASCP), C(ASCP) are advantageous
    • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in clinical laboratory work as a Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Scientist, or Medical Laboratory Scientist
