- 5+ years of buying experience in a high-tech avionics manufacturing production environment.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of programs as well as MRP/ERP systems experience focused on supplier management processes, Purchase Orders, and deliveries.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business, correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with internal customers and suppliers.

As UA's Buyer III, you will be responsible for external procurements of medium and high complexity in support of multiple high-tech avionics production programs. Managed products may include components and part numbers sold by distribution suppliers. The position may support multiple locations across UASC as required. This assignment involves significant interaction with Planning, Engineering, Quality and Shipping.
