We are seeking a dynamic Production Planner at our east Houston facility coordinate production schedules and optimize manufacturing operations to meet customer demand and ensure efficient utilization of resources.

This position involves planning and scheduling production activities, monitoring workflow, and adjusting schedules as needed to maintain production targets and delivery timelines.


Responsibilities:


  • Develops and maintains production schedules based on customer orders and production capacity
  • Coordinates with production managers, supervisors, and other stakeholders to prioritize production activities and allocate resources effectively
  • Utilizes production planning software or tools to create feasible and balanced schedules that optimize equipment and labor utilization
  • Coordinates the supply of materials and subcontracts operations to meet production schedules
  • Expedites operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions
  • Communicates with customer service teams to ensure ontime delivery to customers
  • Determines, recommends, and provides alternatives when demands exceed capacities
  • Processes paperwork and maintains records as required
  • Participates in crossfunctional teams and initiatives to optimize production processes, reduce lead times, and improve overall operational performance

Qualifications:


  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, procurement, and customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret data and make datadriven decisions
  • Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in production scheduling
  • Experience with ERP systems & concepts
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, with emphasis on Microsoft Excel

Physical Requirements:


  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
  • Ability to travel throughout production facilities as required.
