    The Regional E-Campus Outreach and Programming Team Leader (Master 2 Undergrad) will collaborate with the E-Campus Leadership to advance the Outreach and Programming Student Specialists (Master 1 Undergrad) over the year. The position will support the department's priorities to increase accessibility to course content, engage and support online students, and provide technical support to the campus community, as well as provide feedback and analytics. Work performed is complex and requires in-house training. Duties include mentoring and leadership of fellow student workers. Work is done independently of supervision.

    Essential Duties:
    • Leadership skills to lead the Master 1 Undergrad specialists. Meet with E-campus leadership providing team feedback.
    • Learn all aspects of E-Campus messaging and academic programs in order to communicate with outside offices and the community.
    • Coordinate and execute identified E-Campus community outreach events and programs (ie. Youth Summer STEAM, Campus Visits, SOARs, off-site community events).
    • Collect data to provide assessment of program effectiveness, analyzing results and making recommendations for improvement for future events and program design.
    • Represent E-Campus at University events.
    • Help plan and assess effectiveness of content plan for social media.
    • Create graphics for use in internal marketing and social media.
    • Assist in planning of photo and video shoots.
    • Complete PDF remediation, closed-captioning, and other accessibility work.
    • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
    • Perform other duties as required or assigned.
    Minimum Qualifications:

    -Friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude.
    -Successful experience mentoring, managing, or leading others.
    -Willingness to serve as a positive youth role model
    -Successful experience mentoring youth and managing behavior of camp participants.
    -Customer service skills; including the ability to demonstrate conflict resolution, creativity, problem-solving, and time management skills
    -Responsible for inclusion of all participants despite individual needs
    -Ability to take initiative and prioritize work while ensuring a safe activity space
    -Experience in teaching new skills to staff and/or participants
    -Excellent verbal and written communication skills; including communicating technical information in terms understandable for middle-school aged participants
    -Ability to take initiative and prioritize work while overseeing multiple activities simultaneously.
    -Ability and willingness to learn new skills; adapt to new technology and work independently with minimal supervision.
    -Physical demands include the frequent walking as well as long periods of standing both indoors and outdoors.
    -Must be available May 30th - August 2, 2024, at minimum.
