Salty's on Alki in West Seattle, Seattle's most Iconic waterside restaurant, is hiring Front Desk Hosts

If you are a polished and professional restaurant host or aspiring to be one apply today.

This will be a part-time position with shifts for this position range from 3 to 5 hours per day.

Shifts available:

Weekday lunch and Weekend lunch shifts
Weekday Dinner and Weekend Dinner shifts.
Holidays Required (as they are the busiest days of the year)

As a Host at Salty's, you are the first and last impression at the restaurant. The best candidate for this position will be a people person, is outgoing, and thrives in a fast paced environment. Free Parking That's a big deal in Seattle, don't deal with the downtown mess

Experience preferred but not required.

Host Qualifications:

Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required.
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively
A warm, friendly, engaging personality.
Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
Team player with a "Guest First" attitude.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Previous Open Table experience preferred but not required.

Host Benefits:

Wage: $17.25 base wage plus tips.
Tips can add an extra $5 to $8 per hour depending on business and hours worked.

Salty's offers all eligible employees Paid Sick Leave accrual at a rate of one (1) hour for every forty (40) hours worked. Paid Sick Leave can be used after 90 days of employment.

Employee's 21 and older are eligible to enroll in a 401k retirement plan after 1 year/1000 hours of service
Salty's provides up to 40 hours (1 weeks) paid vacation benefits to our non-exempt/hourly Team Members who generally work at least 30 hours/week
