Route Driver - Cypress, United States - SafeSite Inc.

Description

Duties:

• Safely operate a tractortrailer or other large commercial vehicle
• Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient delivery of goods
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of products to customers
• Maintain proper documentation and records for deliveries
• Perform pretrip and posttrip inspections of the vehicle
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Previous experience in route driving or courier services preferred
• Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Pay:
$ $16.00 per hour
