About the role:
As a Financial Analyst at TQL, you will be responsible for financial and operational forecasting, modeling and reporting to support our continued pursuit of innovating the logistics industry. You will play a critical role in analyzing financial data, generating insights and providing leadership with strategic recommendations to support the company's financial decision-making processes.

What you'll be doing:

Conduct comprehensive analysis of company-wide financial data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, variances and opportunities for organizational and departmental improvements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop accurate financial forecasts, monitor performance and highlight any deviations while providing actionable recommendations
Build and maintain complex financial models to simulate scenarios, evaluate potential investments and assess the impact of various business decisions on financial outcomes
Identify and analyze trends, economic factors and industry benchmarks that could impact the company's financial performance
Translate complex financial data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations for senior management, highlighting risks and opportunities
Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and stakeholders
Work with management to provide financial insights and recommendations that align with the company's strategic goals and assist in evaluating potential business opportunities and investments
Continuously assess and enhance financial analysis processes, tools and methodologies to increase efficiency and accuracy

What you need:

2+ years of financial planning and analysis experience
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
Proficiency in financial modeling, statistical analysis, and data interpretation
Knowledge of financial principles and corporate finance concepts
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
Effective communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
Strong time management and organizational skills, with experience managing multiple projects at once
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Ethical and committed to maintaining confidentiality and sensitive financial information
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial software
