Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for quality assurance for assigned productsWork with internal stakeholders on quality investigations and improvement opportunities.
Team member for quality improvement projects to increase customer satisfaction and reduce costEvaluate product and process changes for impact on qualityParticipate in efforts to improve product quality and process capabilityOrganize studies and direct laboratory activities of assigned techniciansEnsure compliance to internal SOPs and external regulationsEvaluate customer complaints and trends to determine necessary actions/improvementsAssess and validate test methods and perform cross-over studies.
Help to foster a quality environment & mindset throughout the businessThe applicant will work and interact with other functions (product development, manufacturing, regulatory, technical service, and business)Strong written and verbal communications skills, excellent attention to detail, and be process and system oriented.
Use analytical tools such as statistical process controls, trending and graph to evaluate process capability and drive improvementOther duties as may be assigned by managementEducation and ExperienceMinimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field5-7 years' experience in a Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology or Food Science environment specifically within a biotech or pharmaceutical environment.
