- Technical Leadership: Lead a team of programmers in the development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise-level applications.
- Project Management: Take ownership of projects related to onboarding and management of home-grown or third party applications with the support from different departments on campus.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, sponsors, and developers across multiple universities within the Board of Regents University system.
- Mentorship and Supervision: Create a supportive and collaborative environment within the Enterprise Applications team. Mentor team members, provide technical guidance, and ensure the team's collective success in delivering high-quality solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Technology or other relevant field completed by first day of hire;
- Minimum of five years progressively responsible information technology experience;
- Demonstrate excellent project management skills with an understanding of the software development life cycle;
- Experience with communication directly with peers, managers, and clients while leading the development process to a complete and successful solution; and
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

The Enterprise Applications is a team of eight dedicated and passionate IT professionals who thrive on team collaboration.The Assistant Director will provide direct supervision to two Software Engineers, fostering their growth through coaching and cultivating a supportive work environment.
