    As a Business Analyst specializing in large-scale project financing at Graphite GTC, you play a crucial role in the underwriting and financial analysis of major capital projects, each exceeding $100 million. Your responsibilities encompass developing sophisticated financial models, conducting risk analysis, and optimizing business processes to evaluate and support the feasibility of high-value deals. You act as a vital link between technical teams and financial stakeholders, translating complex project data into clear financial insights that guide investment decisions and project prioritization. Additionally, your proactive engagement with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies ensures alignment with business objectives and compliance standards, enhancing operational efficiency and strengthening our market competitiveness.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and influence decision-making for major capital projects, ranging in value from $100 million to $1 billion, ensuring they meet stringent financial and investment criteria.
    • Develop sophisticated financial models and conduct detailed risk analysis to support the evaluation, planning, and expansion of large-scale projects.
    • Translate complex project data into actionable financial insights to guide investment decisions and prioritize projects effectively.
    • Proactively engage with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies to ensure that projects align with business objectives and adhere to compliance standards.
    • Lead efforts to reengineer business processes, optimizing operational workflows to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness within the organization.
    • Structure and assess deals meticulously, improving underwriting processes for better risk management and financial structuring of the company's project portfolio.
    • Implement advanced portfolio management solutions and enhance reporting mechanisms to improve decision-making and accountability in asset performance.
    • Maintain a thorough understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks that impact project financing and operations in the sector.
    • Contribute to the development and specification writing for new systems that support optimized business processes, ensuring they meet updated operational requirements.
    • Advocate for and integrate innovative digital solutions to support and enhance reengineered business processes, improving system functionality and user experience.
    • Provide strategic insights that drive the company's growth and enhance its competitiveness in the market, ensuring cost-effectiveness and operational excellence.

    Qualifications:

    • Must be U.S. Citizen.
    • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience in financial analysis and project financing.
    • Over 5 years of hands-on experience in a senior Business Analyst role, with specific expertise in large-scale project financing and financial modeling.
    • In-depth knowledge of financial modeling techniques and tools, with expertise in software like Excel and specialized financial software.
    • Extensive experience with business process reengineering and optimization, employing methodologies like Lean Six Sigma.
    • Expert certification in financial analysis or project management (CFA, FRM, PMP) and/or specific credentials in risk management.
    • Exceptional problem-solving skills, the ability to perform under pressure, and the capability to mentor team members in best practices in financial analysis and strategic planning.
