- Collaborate cross-functionally to manage the weekly, monthly, and annual planning/forecasting of various channels of the business
- Perform analysis of current and projected company performance including variance analysis to prior forecast and plan
- Use data and make recommendations to influence strategic decision-making and planning across the organization, from marketing and product to real estate and construction
- Use solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models and analyses with little guidance and draw conclusions and make recommendations that deliver results and drive improvements
- Establish relationships with business partners and proactively address issues
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to staff member(s) through effective goal setting and professional development
- Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred
- 8+ years of FP&A experience
- 3+ years of retail or multi-unit industry experience
- Proven expertise managing, evaluating, analyzing data quickly and creating meaningful business reporting combined with proven ability to communicate those analyses
- Advanced Excel knowledge and experience
- SQL experience preferred
- Accounting knowledge and an understanding of financial statements
- Proven ability to develop strategic relationships with business partners
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Extreme attention to detail
- Able to work both independently and in teams
- Highly organized and efficient project management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task

POSITION OVERVIEW
As the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), you will play a key role in supporting all areas of the company by collaborating with cross-functional teams on establishing and tracking progress against plan/forecast, and proactively identifying and implementing opportunities to help grow and scale the business through data analysis and modeling. The ideal candidate has strong leadership and relationship-building capabilities; effective written/verbal communication skills; can manage, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced work environment; has intellectual curiosity and a strong work ethic; and takes pride in his/her role in the business. This person will play a key role in supporting the tremendous growth of the company. This position reports to the Vice President of Finance & Accounting.
