- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in systems or structures testing or design
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering discipline from ABET, or equivalent, accredited institution
- Proficiency in CAD Modelling - 3DX or CATIA v5 required
- Experience with structural or systems testing
- Knowledge in fixture design and analysis
- Familiarity with composites and metallic primary structures
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Must be U.S. Persons as defined by the ITAR (22 CFR ?
- Experience using PXI, cDAQ NI Hardware
- Knowledge of Fatigue & Damage Tolerance analysis
- Prior experience performing liaison / MRB activities in aerospace stress applications
- Experience with manufacturing-based ERP systems, such as Oracle
- Experience with the design of flight vehicles or vehicle systems to a set of requirements or standards such as CFR 14, Part 400, Part 23 and 25, military or NASA
- Design Iron Bird Lab then transition into test execution phase.
- Develop tests plans for validation of complex mechanical components.
- Write test plans and procedures to define execution of tests.
- Interface with internal customers to establish specific test requirements.
- Work with support teams to procure test stand hardware.
- Collaborate with supply chain team for outside contracts.
- Participate in the review and release process. Ensure durability, reliability, safety of assigned scope.
