    Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Flight Test Technician 3 or 4 to join our skilled and diverse Flight Test team based in Mojave, CA. This role involves various shifts, including weekends, and may require flexibility to support operations as needed.

    The primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

    • Conducting modifications and adjustments as necessary.
    • Performing test duties/functions within assigned areas.
    • Executing repairs, modifications, installations, and testing of mechanical systems.
    • Coordinating with engineering on the installation, removal, repair, and maintenance of critical components/systems.
    • Building, troubleshooting, calibrating, testing, and maintaining complex equipment and devices.
    • Notifying supervisors of any malfunctions, defects, or damages to equipment.
    • Ensuring completeness and accuracy of work.

    Basic qualifications for this role include a High School Diploma, A&P License, aircraft maintenance experience, and certain clearances and physical capabilities.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Experience in flight test operations and handling flight line equipment.
    • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues, work independently, mentor others, and interpret technical data effectively.
    • Strong communication skills and familiarity with relevant regulations and systems.

    Salary Ranges:

    • $62,900 - $104,900
    • $74,900 - $124,800

    Employee compensation may include additional bonuses or incentives based on individual and company performance. Northrop Grumman also offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career advancement.
