    Description
    SSRS/BI Developer – IT


    This position will work closely with the business analyst, business users, and executives to gather, define, and translate business requirements into BI solutions.

    The applicant must have excellent collaboration skills with the ability to communicate concepts and solutions effectively and clearly.

    This position will also play a key technical role requiring skills in the design, development, and implementation of data warehousing and BI solutions.

    Warren, MI


    RESPONSIBILITIES
    Translate business needs to technical specifications
    Design, build and deploy BI solutions
    Examine existing reports to locate and resolve issues
    Make essential technical and strategic changes to improve present business intelligence systems
    Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
    Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
    Create visually impactful, interactive business reports that provide insight into key data points
    Develop and update technical documentation

    Design, develop, automate, and support complex processes to extract, transform and load data into SQL Data Store and Data Warehouse environments using Visual Studio.

    Design and develop complete SSIS packages including the development of stored procedures, connections, tasks, control flows, data flows, parameters, event handlers, and variables.

    Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns

    Interview stakeholders and collaborate with business analysts to gather and document solution requirements, use cases, and test scenarios for business solutions.


    QUALIFICATIONS
    Knowledge and experience with SSIS, and SSRS
    Knowledge and experience with data warehouse design, dimensional modeling, and data mining
    In-depth understanding of database management systems and ETL
    1 to 2 years of experience with Qlik Sense
    Experience with SQL 2016, 2019
    Knowledge and experience with PowerShell and Python a plus
    Building predictive models and machine-learning algorithms a plus
