- Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Current and valid CPA license required. CPA firm experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Extensive knowledge and experience in the preparation and review of induvial and corporate tax returns including but not limited to Forms 1040, 1120S, 1120, 1065, 1041, 706, and 709.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, both domestic and international
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate a high-performing tax team
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical business practices
- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
- Provide training and support to the tax team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Oversee the company's tax department to ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations
- Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize profitability
- Research and interpret tax laws and regulations, keeping the company informed of any changes that may impact the business
