Eurofins bestaat wereldwijd uit ruim50.000 medewerkers, verdeeld over 800hyper moderne laboratoria en is actief in 50landen met een pro-forma omzet van 5.4€B in 2020.Naast zeer sterke autonome groei met veleneigen start-ups heeft Eurofins in 2020 in verschillende landen een totaal van ruim 25 acquisities gedaan.
De geaccrediteerde laboratoria van Eurofins Milieu bieden in Nederland een uitgebreid pakket aan chemische, fysische en biologische analyses in alle milieu matrices. Door jarenlange ervaring heeft zij uitvoerige kennis op het gebied van zowel routinematige analyses als niet standaard analyses waaronder analyses van bijzondere verbindingen en microverontreinigingen. Eurofins is marktleider op het gebied van specialistisch onderzoek; opdrachtgevers zijn onder meer waterkwaliteitsbeheerders, Rijkswaterstaat, provinciale en gemeentelijke overheden, milieu-adviesbureaus, industrie en aannemers. Circa 600 gemotiveerde deskundigen verzorgen het traject van monstername tot aan de digitale rapportage van de analyseresultaten. Analyses vinden voornamelijk plaats in de grote laboratoria in Amsterdam (Eurofins Omegam) en Barneveld (Eurofins Analytico).
Functieomschrijving

Barneveld is geselecteerd als een van de vijf pilot labs in het ambitieuze programma om één LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) voor zowel de Food en Environment business te ontwikkelen. 2021 gaat het jaar worden waarin de laatste ontwikkelingen plaats zullen vinden en het nieuwe LIMS live zal gaan in Barneveld. Vanwege de hoge mate van automatisering en robotisering op de locaties in Amsterdam en Barneveld zullen een aantal functionaliteiten door onszelf (her-)ontwikkeld gaan worden. Hier zul jij een cruciale rol in gaan spelen.
Als senior developer ontwikkel je programma's die het lab ondersteunen in behoud van Eurofins' marktleiderschap in de BeNeLux. Je werkt bijv. aan de integratie van het LIMS systeem in de operatie, het klantportaal waar klanten online hun orders indienen, applicaties ter ondersteuning van analyses in het lab of het integreren van de data die door onze koeriers in het veld worden gescand en on-line doorgestuurd.
We bevinden ons dicht bij de operatie en hebben daarom korte lijnen met de eindgebruikers. Samen met de andere leden van je scrum team (developers, testers, business analysten en product owner) kun je dus snel schakelen. Met kort cyclisch ontwikkelen kunnen we nieuwe software/features snel opleveren en hierop terugkoppeling ontvangen. Dit is mede mogelijk door inzet van o.a. automatische deployment, unit testing en software-kwaliteitschecks.
We verwachten dat je senioriteit meebrengt en het ontwikkel team op een hoger niveau brengt, in bijv. design patterns, .Net best practices, micro services, etc. Naast dat je dit weet toe te passen kun je dit door je natuurlijke leiderschapsrol ook overbrengen op je collega-developers.
Naast de LIMS implementatie blijven we ook op IT gebied innoveren. Binnen Eurofins is een strategische keuze gemaakt om naar de Azure Cloud te gaan, hierbij beginnen de eerste experimenten nu vorm te krijgen. De verwachting is dat jij hier ook een leidende rol in gaat spelen.

Je bent in staat om Product Owner en business vertegenwoordigers te overtuigen in vraagstukken rond kosten/baten, prioriteitsstelling en diverse kwaliteitsaspecten om gezamenlijk te komen tot de beste oplossing voor de organisatie.
Je bent in staat om anderen (zowel collega developers als andere scrum team leden) te coachen in technologische vraagstukken en hun technische ontwikkeling alsmede het vormgeven/optimaliseren van ontwikkel- en IT supportproces.
Je neemt het team mee in de transformatie naar Azure Cloud ontwikkeling
Door actief de kennis van de operatie tot je te nemen maak je een link tussen coderen en de (lab) operatie. Je werkt samen met vertegenwoordigers van de operatie om tot innovatie oplossingen komen.
Je bent in staat om technologische ontwikkelingen in de IT sector te herkennen, vertalen en aan te dragen als kansen voor de organisatie.
Je kunt schakelen met (corporate) architecten om de richting te bepalen waarop er ontwikkeld moet worden.

HBO/WO werk- en denkniveau
Leiderschapskwaliteiten: strategisch- en tactisch inzicht, visie, doelstelling en –realisatie, zoeken naar (internationale) samenwerking, kwaliteitsverbetering en -borging, belangenafweging.
Je hebt een goede balans tussen pragmatisme en technische perfectie
Sparren met de operatie ga je niet uit de weg, je schroomt daarom ook niet om (af en toe) de werkvloer op te gaan
Analytisch, nauwgezet en communicatief vaardig met verschillende niveau's in de organisatie
Didactisch inzicht, bekend met coaching/mentoring
Affiniteit met laboratoria / productiebedrijven is een pre
Je hebt kennis van automatische deployment, omgevingsbeheer, certificaten, etc.
Gedegen programmeerervaring in NET FW/Core, C#, MS SQL, web services
Kennis van tools zoals Visual Studio, TFS, Azure DevOps
