The
Development Associate is responsible for assisting with annual fundraising efforts for affiliate organizations of the Kinexion Network.

Duties and Responsibilities

Foundation:

Assist the Senior Director of Development with the coordination, and implementation of affiliate fundraising programs including but not limited to direct mail campaigns and special events.
Serve as the direct liaison with employees and the community for fundraising/donations.
Work under the direction of the Senior Director of Development to develop strategies to cultivate and solicit donors for annual giving.
Provide support to fundraising committees in prospect identification and cultivation, training, solicitation, and stewardship.
Work with the Donor Relations Database Coordinator to maintain and update donor records in the database and add notes on meetings, relationships, and interests of donors.
Assist with ecommunication as it pertains to fundraising.
Support the Chief Development Officer and Senior Director of Development as needed.
Keep the Chief Development Officer and Senior Director of Development informed of all pertinent information.
All other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree
Five years' experience in fundraising industry preferred
Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Strong planning and organizational skills
Ability to handle all responsibilities with the highest level of confidentiality
Thorough knowledge of principles of effective communications and publicity, advertising, policies, educations, community relations, and social service
Demonstrated knowledge and expertise of fundraising software, social media platforms and digital marking channels
Valid NYS Drivers License
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Pay:
$50,000.00 per year
