- Work within an integrated team of engineers, environmental scientists, surveyors, transportation designers, and landscape architects in developing site civil engineering plans and specifications for a multitude of renewable energy infrastructure projects with a focus on sustainability and resiliency
- Attend meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to establish their needs and discuss design/permitting issues
- Preparation of design plans from schematic design through construction documents
- Assist in the preparation of permitting materials
- Technical and Design Report writing
- Self-motivated with ability to think critically and creatively
- Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
- Collaborate with designers and CADD technicians in the development of drawings in accordance with national design standards, safety codes, and client specific project specifications and requirements
- Ability to manage deliverable and time commitments
- BS in Civil Engineering or related field
- 3-5 years of professional site/civil engineering experience, including consulting/private sector experience
- EIT preferred
- AutoCAD Civil 3D experience required
- GIS, HydroCAD, and StormCAD experience a plus
- Experience preparing graphics and maps highly desired
