- Work within an integrated team of engineers, environmental scientists, and landscape architects in developing site civil engineering plans and specifications for a multitude and public and private infrastructure projects with a focus on sustainability and resiliency
- Preparation of design plans from schematic design through construction documents
- Assist in the preparation of permitting, design and construction documents
- Technical and Design Report writing
- Attend meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to establish their needs and discuss design/permitting issues
- Ability to think critically and creatively in a team-focused environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Self-motivated
- Attention to detail
- BS in Civil Engineering or related field
- 3-5 years of professional site/civil engineering experience, including consulting/private sector experience
- EIT preferred
- AutoCAD Civil 3D experience required
- GIS, HydroCAD, and StormCAD experience a plus
- Experience preparing graphics and maps

ABOUT THE POSITION
VHBs South Burlington, VT office is seeking an experienced Site/Civil Engineer to join our Land Development group. The successful candidate will work with our team of professionals to support all aspects of site/civil engineering for public and private site and infrastructure design, including grading and drainage design, utility design, and stormwater system design for projects ranging from renewable energy facilities , ski resort and recreational areas, infill housing development, transportation, and water quality improvement projects.
