- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, critical thinking and organizational skills required to develop and maintain policies, procedures, and outreach delivery systems for the agency

The Counseling and Wellness Center (CWC) at the University of Florida is seeking an outreach coordinator with experience in collegiate mental health.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Outreach and Consultation of the Counseling and Wellness Center (CWC), the outreach coordinator is a clinical faculty member of the CWC and serves in a key role responsible for supporting the Center's efforts in planning and providing leadership for all aspects of campus outreach, including both face-to-face and digital efforts.
This person is responsible for supporting efforts in creating and maintaining relationships with other departments across campus to ensure that outreach and consultation efforts are compatible with other campus efforts and meeting the needs of the University of Florida (UF) students.
The outreach coordinator provides timely responses to campus outreach requests by working with the outreach student assistant on a consistent basis.
The outreach coordinator also supervises the AWARE graduate assistant and provides oversight to the AWARE Ambassadors program (for both the undergraduate and graduate level of the program), including recruiting, outreach efforts and budgeting needs.
In addition to these specific administrative duties, the job responsibilities include:providing individual, couples and group counseling, crisis intervention, campus consultation, outreach programs, case management, outreach/AWARE program administration, clinical supervision; professional training and teaching, scholarly activities (professional presentations, leadership, and publications) and performing administrative and committee responsibilities as required.

The CWC is a vibrant, multidisciplinary, multicultural, and creative center, actively engaged in the furtherance and betterment of compassionate psychological services, outreach, and training.
The CWC is a dynamic part of the Division of Student Life and is highly utilized by students and other campus constituents seeking a variety of mental health services.
Our staff consists of 45 clinicians in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, and counselor education.CWC is home to a large training program for graduate students in Counseling Psychology and Counselor Education and a doctoral psychology internship accredited by the American Psychological Association.
Members of our staff are cohesive, collegial, engaged, and share a passion for working in collegiate mental health.The CWC is a learning organization as clinical service, training, outreach, and professional development are informed by research, local data, and benchmarking with national trends and peer institutions.

Expected Salary:
Starting $70,000 with room for negotiation based on years of experience
Minimum Requirements:
Clinical Assistant Professors must (1) have a doctoral degree in clinical psychology, counseling psychology or counseling from an APA or CACREP accredited doctoral program; and (2) be licensed as a mental health professional or psychologist in the state of Florida within two years of employment.
