Join our university - as soon as possible, full-time and permanent as an IT system administrator*in IT security

Department: University IT

(Up to salary group: 11 TV-L)

Your future tasks

  • Administration of IT security software: XDR, APT and vulnerability scanners
  • Establishment of a central security monitoring, Security Information and Event Management System (SIEM)
  • Collaboration in the area of information security management system
  • Cooperation with external partners (e.g. Security Operations Center)
  • Handling of security incidents
  • Creation and maintenance of websites for information security
  • Support and advice for students, teachers and employees in the field of IT security (1st and 2nd level) via hotline and ticket system

Your qualifications and skills



We are looking for an open-minded, curious and dedicated person with a sense for the essentials and a broad perspective.

  • A university degree with a focus on IT or a comparable education with several years of professional experience
  • Knowledge and experience in the field of system administration under Linux
