This is a senior-level role that requires a strong background in marketing strategy development, team management, and successful execution.
By successfully developing and executing marketing strategies, managing a talented team, and driving business growth, the Marketing Director will have a significant impact on the success of the organization.
Develop and Execute Marketing Strategies:
Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify target audiences, define key messages, and develop marketing campaigns that drive growth and brand awareness.
Divisional Marketing Management:
Work closely with division heads to understand their specific marketing needs and develop tailored strategies. Collaborate with these stakeholders to align marketing efforts and ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and positioning across all divisions.
Team Leadership and Management:
Lead and manage a team of marketing professionals, including hiring, training, and mentoring team members. Provide clear direction, set performance expectations, and empower the team to deliver high-quality work. Foster a collaborative and motivated working environment where team members can flourish.
Marketing Plan Development:
Develop comprehensive marketing plans incorporating various channels and tactics such as digital marketing, advertising, content marketing, social media, and public relations.
Integrate data and analytics to drive data-driven decision-making and continuously optimize marketing plans for maximum impact.Budget Management:
Develop and manage marketing budgets for each company/division. Monitor spending and allocate resources effectively to achieve marketing goals and objectives. Regularly review financial performance and adjust strategies and tactics as necessary.
Analytics and Reporting:
Monitor and analyze key marketing metrics and present reports to senior management. Use data insights to assess campaign performance, identify areas of improvement, and make actionable recommendations to optimize marketing strategies.
Qualifications
Solid Marketing Strategy Experience:
A minimum of 7 years of experience in developing marketing plans and strategies.
Team Management Skills:
Proven experience managing and leading a marketing team. Ability to inspire and motivate team members, allocate resources effectively, and foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Strong Analytical Skills:
Excellent analytical skills and a data-driven mindset. Ability to gather and interpret market data, track campaign performance, and make strategic decisions based on insights.
Budgeting and Financial Acumen:
Proficiency in budget management and financial analysis. Experience in allocating resources effectively and making data-driven decisions to optimize budgets for maximum ROI.
Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate marketing strategies, concepts, and results to various stakeholders.
Experience presenting to senior management and executives.Strategic Thinking and Business Acumen:
A strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and align marketing efforts with overall business goals. Strong business acumen and market knowledge to identify opportunities, anticipate industry trends, and make informed decisions.
