Location: 2 locations - Sarasota, FL _or_ Rosewood Lido Key, FL area


Benefits:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The Cleaner will perform general cleaning and upkeep for a large commercial building and public facilities area.

Individuals in these janitorial positions will ensure the building, grounds, and equipment are in a clean, orderly, and functional condition.


Summary of duties:


  • Remove all trash and debris, including flooring protection as directed by the Superintendent. Excessive trade debris will be removed prior to this Subcontractor's work commences.
  • Clean window frames at interior, clean interior sliding glass door frames and vacuum tracks. Remove all stickers on glazing. Remove all blue max and protective covering from the interior of all windows and sliding glass doors. Clean interior glass, frames, jambs, and tracks.
  • Clean interior and exterior of cabinets, remove dirt and debris, labels, etc. Remove labels and wipe down any and all appliances. Clean and disinfect sink and shine plumbing fixtures.
  • Removal of protection on all fixtures, appliances, countertops, and sinks. If any substance other than dust is present on cabinets Klēn Space will NOT scrub. Scrubbing will damage the finish, if damage occurs, Klēn Space will be financially responsible for the damage. Any excessive cabinet cleaning should be reported.
  • Clean bathtubs, showers, and shower enclosures. Clean and disinfect toilets and sinks, shine plumbing fixtures. Clean counter tops, interior and exterior of cabinets and mirrors. Removal of protection on all fixtures, appliances, countertops, and sinks.
  • Clean interior and exterior of cabinets.
  • Wipe down appliances
  • Sweep, vacuum and mop the entire unit including all rooms, terraces, and closets.
  • Dust the water heater, A/C units, walls, trim, base, electrical devices and HVAC vents and any other interior hard surface.
  • Clean all window sills.
  • Clean all mechanical rooms including pipes, A/C unit, water heater and pan.
  • Remove reasonably mínimal overpaint on finished surfaces, except cabinets. If any substance other than dust is present on cabinets, Klen Space will NOT scrub. Scrubbing will damage the finish, if damage occurs from scrubbing the cabinets, Klen Space will be financially responsible for the damage. rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, escalators, elevators, stairways, and windows.

Qualifications:


  • Must have a working phone that is able to download two mobile apps used to complete the job
  • Ability to use phone app for report completion of each location
  • Must pass a background check
  • Mandatory before starting work
  • Must be age 18 or over
  • Must have a demonstrated record of satisfactory attendance and punctuality
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions are also required
  • Ability to speak and read english
