The Role

The Department of Medicine 5 (Hematology and Internal Oncology) is looking for a highly motivated Medical Technical Assistant (MTA) for the field of oncological research.

We offer a pleasant working environment with exciting and varied tasks.


Responsibilities:
Independent processing, analysis, and preservation of patient samples with documentation of all sample-related data
Independent performance of FACS-based investigations as well as molecular and immunological analyses of complex experiments
Establishment and optimization of analytical test procedures
Support of daily laboratory activities through routine tasks (e.g. orders, autoclaving)


Requirements:
Completed vocational training as an MTA
High motivation with the ability to work independently
Experience with processing patient material
Extensive knowledge in the field of flow cytometry (hardware, software)
Proficient in computer systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Willingness to work flexible hours
Good English skills, both written and spoken
Communication and teamwork skills
Organized
