Description:
Provides the necessary quality inspection skills to support the Company in achieving optimal levels of safety, quality, productivity, and delivery to assure internal and external customer success.
Operates CMM's for First Piece Inspection and Production Approval
Reads drawings to determine specifications and tolerances for a variety components
Ensures that containment activities take place when discrepancies are identified
Participates in the corrective action and preventive action processes
Utilizes a wide variety of inspection tools to complete dimensional reports
The employee may occasionally lift up-to 50 pounds
Will mainly be doing Incoming/receiving quality inspection of all parts (some outbound inspection of completed aircrafts), cross training with in-process QI team, first article inspection. 50%-80% of their time will be spent in the metrology lab using the faro arm (a portable coordinate measuring machine (CMM)) and Keyence microscope machine. Experience with both is preferred but Alex let me know they're trainable. Ensuring that no defective raw materials, sub-assemblies or parts reach the manufacturing line.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Background in Medical Device, Electronics, Machining, Aerospace. Strong GD&T knowledge, IPC 610. CMM and OMM experience. Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, soldering, calipers, multimeter, micrometer.
Programs: Polyworks, VE Cam 2, Calypso, PC-DMIS
Experience completing MRB (Material review boards).
Must have a hungry self-starter attitude. Can't be afraid to put in the work, very fast work environment.
