Location: South San Francisco
Pay Rate: $32 - $50/hour
Shift: Morning shift - 8:00am - 4:30pm (Flexible)
Description:
Provides the necessary quality inspection skills to support the Company in achieving optimal levels of safety, quality, productivity, and delivery to assure internal and external customer success.
Operates CMM's for First Piece Inspection and Production Approval
Reads drawings to determine specifications and tolerances for a variety components
Ensures that containment activities take place when discrepancies are identified
Participates in the corrective action and preventive action processes
Utilizes a wide variety of inspection tools to complete dimensional reports
The employee may occasionally lift up-to 50 pounds
Will mainly be doing Incoming/receiving quality inspection of all parts (some outbound inspection of completed products), cross training with in-process QI team, first article inspection. Ensuring that no defective raw materials, sub-assemblies or parts reach the manufacturing line.
Must have experience with:
GD&T, CMM, Quality inspection, Metrology
