Description

Your main responsibility will be to troubleshoot IT help desk calls, assisting users with application, equipment, and technical issues to ensure their satisfaction. You'll also play a key role in maintaining our organization's networks, operating systems, and hardware platforms.

Here's what you'll do:

Provide friendly and timely support to users, managing tasks through our Help Desk ticket system.
Help install and educate users on personal computer hardware and software.
Assist in maintaining backups and documentation of hardware and software inventories.
Collaborate with team members to deploy new technology solutions efficiently.
Support telecommunications and contribute to reducing risks from computer viruses.
Participate in training and development activities to enhance your skills.
Unbox, asset management (recording serial numbers, labeling), imaging them, running through check list, manual installations and package installations.

We're looking for someone who:

Has knowledge of desktop computers and various vendor devices.
Understands PC hardware and operating systems like Windows XP and Server 2003.
Is familiar with LAN/WAN communications and protocols.
Possesses excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Can work well under pressure and independently manage projects.
Is eager to learn and grow in the field of information technology.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in computer systems preferred, or five years of relevant experience in IT support.
Experience with Microsoft Desktop Applications
Experience with IT Asset Management
Strong experience imaging new workstations
CompTIA A+ Certification
