ResponsibilitiesYou will complete your training as a wholesale and foreign trade management assistant at one of our branches.
As a wholesale and foreign trade management assistant in the wholesale specialization, you will be responsible for providing expert advice to our commercial and private customers, processing orders, and ensuring timely delivery.
In your first year of training, you will learn the basic processes at the branch. This includes understanding how to determine the demand for goods and their sources, obtaining quotes, comparing conditions, and ensuring proper storage of goods.
Starting in your second year of training, you will take on more responsibility. This includes pricing, processing sales orders, and issuing invoices for the resale of goods. You will also handle cost accounting and payment transactions, handle complaints, and organize marketing activities.
In addition to on-the-job training, you will also receive product and technical knowledge through training and seminars during your apprenticeship.
Upon successful completion of your training, you can expect to work as a "specialist consultant in the building materials trade".
If you have the necessary qualifications and perform well on your final exam, you also have the opportunity to further your career through our internal junior talent program and become a certified commercial specialist - IHK.
