We are looking for a selfstarter who is teamoriented and especially detailoriented.
This person will have the opportunity to grow within the team by learning more increasingly complex accounting tasks, helping with budgeting, and preparing operational financial reporting for Partners.
The Accountant will report to the Company Controller.Core responsibilities will include
Review expense submissions, ensuring firm policies, including Delegation of Authority, are appropriately followed prior to any payments
Perform AR and AP; interface with employees and vendors regarding contracts and payment status
Assist with benefits administration and monthly allocations
Manage data collection from portfolio companies
Post reporting to investor portals and manage user access
Maintain both fund and management company general ledgers, ensuring accuracy of journal entries and monthly reconciliations
Prepare quarterly fund financial statements and partner capital statements
Help with tax returns and filings, for both funds and management company
Prepare budgettoactual variance analysis and operational financial reporting
The ideal candidate is/has

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Consistent and precise attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Able to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a dynamic organization that values continuous rapid improvement
