    Job Description

    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years pharmacy experience required.

    We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated IV Hospital Pharmacist to join our team on a contract basis at a reputable healthcare facility in Fayetteville, Tennessee. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and effective preparation and dispensation of IV medications and therapies to our patients.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and dispense medications, including IV solutions, under stringent safety and quality standards.
    • Review and interpret physician orders to ensure appropriate therapies are administered.
    • Monitor patient health and progress to adjust medication plans as necessary.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and hospital policies.
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care.
    • Provide information and advice to patients and healthcare professionals.
    • Maintain accurate patient records and medication stock levels.
    • Supervise and train pharmacy technicians and assistants.
    • Participate in clinical programs and health promotion initiatives.

    Shift:

    • Monday - Friday: 7:00am-4:00pm
    • Saturday - Sunday: 8:00am-12:00pm
    • Rotating weekends: Every 2nd or 3rd
    • On-call

    Requirements:

    • TN license clear and active
    • 1+ year or more of recent inpatient experience
    • IV skills preferred
    • Willing to work 13+ week assignment
