FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Days
Pay: $ $24.83 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
Summary:
Serves as an initial point of contact and resource for internal and external inquiries regarding service issues on patient accounts.
Responsibilities:
Receives and responds to customer inquiries to ensure timely and accurate resolution of patient account issues.
Reviews patient account history and contacts appropriate internal/external resources as necessary to investigate and resolve patient account issues.
Refers/escalates issues to appropriate personnel as necessary. Documents/notes patient accounts regarding identified issues and responses taken.
Performs other account-related and clerical activities as requested.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
