What you will do:

  • Set up and operate heat treatment processes for tool and machine steels: hardening and tempering; case hardening; tempering; coating
  • Various annealing processes
  • Monitoring of processes
  • Independent quality assurance through nondestructive and destructive material testing (e.g. hardness, crack, and microstructure testing)
  • Batch assembly according to heat treatment specifications, as well as optimization
  • Maintenance of heat treatment equipment

What you bring:

  • Completed vocational training as a materials tester in heat treatment technology or machining
  • Initial knowledge and experience in the field
  • Willingness to acquire new technical knowledge and personal development
  • Structured and detailoriented work style

  • Forklift and crane license desirable
