    Description


    Provide oversight for Kingdom Collegiate Academies leadership team while entrusting them with the support and accountability to effectively lead in their respective areas of the responsibility.

    Establish and implement administrative processes that will result in proper use of school resources, interfacing with key constituents in a Christ-like and professional manner while ensuring all applicable policies and regulations governed by the KCA Education Committee are accomplished in every aspect of the school.

    To inspire and continue to further develop an academic program that is biblically integrated, vigorous, and relevant for preparing students to live as intelligent wholehearted followers of Jesus Christ.

    Ensure that only professionally qualified and spiritually mature Christians comprise the faculty and staff.
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    ( Other duties may be assigned )

    Provide vision and direction to all members of the school community that is consistent with the overall mission, vision, core values, and purpose of the school.

    Build and sustain a cohesive, integrated team approach among the members of the KCA Education Committee, school leadership team, faculty, staff, parents, and students.

    Ensure the school provides a safe and secure environment for students, staff and
    Develop and evaluate educational programs and services that align with and conform to the standards and policies established by the Elder Board of OCBF, the KCA Education Committee and all applicable educational agencies (AdvancEd, ACSI, etc.)

    Collaborate with the OCBF Human Resources Department to recruit and hire those that are spiritually compatible, professionally qualified, and committed to serving in the alignment with the mission, vision and values of OCBF.

    Establish and maintain a culture of excellence, professional and spiritual growth and continuous improvement at the school in all areas.

    Work with the KCA Leadership to oversee faculty development of Christ- centered academically challenging curriculum that is consistent with the KCA's core values and, mission statement.

    Lead the administration and faculty in using student assessment data to determine learning successes and areas where KCA may improve academic achievement.

    Maintain the crisis preparedness plan and facilitate personnel site safety Evaluate and update this plan annually.
    Ensure all school regulatory mandates and accreditation requirements are met with excellence and are communicated to the KCA Education Committee, administration, faculty, and

    Operational Leadership Responsibilities

    Work with teachers and professional staff to implement the educational program through workshops and training sessions.
    Monitor classroom instruction, offer additional training and guidance as required, and evaluate performance of teachers and professional staff.
    Hold frequent meetings and conferences with teachers, students, and parents concerning educational and behavioral problems in school.

    Oversee school leadership team meetings to professionally and spiritually develop the members of this team, ensure coordination of school events is communicated.

    Establish and maintain relationships with colleges, community organizations, and other schools to coordinate educational services.
    Review curriculum, make suggestions for adoption, order and maintain inventories of materials, text supplies,
    Participate in on-going recruitment process of new students and retention of current
    Work with the administration and staff from the finance department to develop and effectively administrate the school budget.
    Supervise allocation of equipment, educational material, and supplies in conformance with approved
    Work with professional staff to maximize use of volunteers in meaningful ways to enrich the students' educational experience.

    Budget Responsibilities

    Work with the Accounting team and KCA leadership team in developing an annual budget for Elder Board approval. Consult with the Accounting team in the distribution of tuition assistance. Fully adhere to all purchasing policies and procedures to ensure fiscal discipline and compliance.
    Student Responsibilities


    Provide resources and opportunities for students to hear about Christ, grow deeper in their personal relationship with Him, and impact others locally and globally with the Gospel.

    Assist leadership team as necessary in mentoring and molding the hearts of the students through application of the KCA Philosophy of Student Discipline and through regular engaging chapel experiences.

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    DDirectly supervises KCA school administration staff and elementary/middle school teachers and high school teachers. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

    Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    Qualifications

    Education and/or Experience

    Masters' degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or closely related field is required. Certification in administrative leadership. Experience as a Christian School Head of School or Principal is required. Experience as a Christian School classroom teacher is preferred. Knowledge of, and experience with leading ACSI accreditation renewal and compliance. Willingness to secure a Texas Child Care Director's license if selected.
