Description
Provide behavioral health services to adolescents and young adults who are transitioning out of Juvenile Rehabilitation into the community. Implement the Adolescent Community Reinforcement Approach with Assertive Continuing Care (A-CRA/ACC) program as described in the research manual. Training and certification will be provided. Assist the Principal Investigator with the implementation of research protocols. Along with the Principal Investigator, ensure that research projects are conducted in compliance with federal regulations and institutional/departmental guidelines. Work under the supervision of a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. This position will require frequent travel throughout Eastern Washington (weekly or more), expected to be 50-60% of the role. The Interventionist will meet with youth both inside the facilities as well as after they leave.This is a key position that entails working autonomously with setting a schedule, creating spreadsheets, being flexible, and maintaining client outreach.
Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, or a related field; Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an unrelated field and 2 years of experience providing direct treatment services to children and families (i.e., assessments, therapy, interventions, case management);~ Associate's degree in counseling, social work, or a related field and 2 years of experience providing direct treatment services to children and families (i.e., assessments, therapy, interventions, case management);

$This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year).
