You will work directly with our Brandywine students with frequent behaviors in a school setting that is located on our West Chester, PA campus.
Pay-rate:
$ $21.97 (based upon experience)
Shift:
Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm (52 week year round position)
Everyday as a Behavior Support Specialist you will:
- Provide behavior management support to individuals in a school setting.
- Carry out specific interventions that are developed by the Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Transfer skills to individuals' natural support in the least restrictive environment.
- Assist the Educational Administrator by deploying direct care staff strategically throughout the facility.
- Support teachers in managing student behaviors
- Serve as an exemplar to direct care staff and ensures efficient communication between the school, residential program, and/or school district representatives.

EDUCATION:
Registered Behavior Technician certification or RBT eligible; required. Bachelor's degree in a human service field preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
At least 1 year of work experience with children or adolescents with behavior challenges preferred.
