    This position is currently offering a $10,000 sign on bonus

    In this role you will:


    The Nursing Educator is a perioperative registered nurse who functions in an expanded role, working in collaboration with management, the surgeon, and health care team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities


    Acts as a member of the Perioperative Team and is a subject matter expert with respect to perioperative patient care and associated safe surgical nursing practice.

    Develop and implement continuing education and orientation programs for members of FOISC
    Responsible for facilitating training of new nurses.
    Assess educational needs and implement programs to meet educational goals.

    Embraces Florida Orthopaedic Institute Surgery Centers code of conduct and displays a professional bearing during the performance of role responsibilities.

    Assure compliance with all company plans, policies and procedures set forth by the Florida Orthopaedic Institute
    All other duties as assigned.


    About You:
    Certified Nurse in the Operating Room (CNOR) with 3-5 years of OR experience.
    Masters Degree in nursing required.
    Must be BLS/ACLS certified.
    Candidate shall demonstrate effective communication skills.
