Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. The Project Manager plans and designates project resources, prepares budgets, monitors progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :

In collaboration with senior management, defines goals and deliverables for each project, identify key milestones and ensures creation of a project charter for qualifying projects.

Using appropriate software and tools, creates and manages project plans to ensure timely delivery of projects within budget.

Manages the Project Chater and Approval Procedures to ensure project champions develop complete and accurate project charters for review by the executive team.

Proactively manages changes in project schedules, and develops mitigation and contingency plans.

Assists in defining project success criteria.

Facilitates cross functional team meetings by creating agendas, capturing meeting minutes and tracking action items and ensuring follow-up.

Creates and maintains a project documentation database including but not limited to: reports, meeting minutes, presentations and project plans.

Communicates progress and issues to the executive operations team and key stakeholders.

Manages assigned budgets for individual projects.

Takes independent action to solve problems impacting project, ensuring all risks and opportunities associated with successful implementation of the project are addressed and escalated appropriately. Maintains ownership of resolution while accessing escalation resources for assistance if unable to diagnose or resolve. Develops unique strategies to solve issues, and negotiates with customers, third parties, and management to ensure consensus approach to installations that fall outside normal parameters.

Provide leadership and work with all staff to achieve the goals of the "Triple Aim" of healthcare reform-to improve the experience of care, improve health outcomes, and decrease healthcare costs.

Conducts and coordinates post mortem meetings to ensure success or identify challenges that are preventing project to be successful. Address all challenges in order to for project success and identify any challenge that cannot be overcome and escalate to senior management.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements, Special Skills or Knowledge :

Bachelor's degree in related field or four years of work experience.

Experience in managing cross functional projects and responsibilities.

Expert in MS Excel, MS Project Gantt charts and PowerPoint.

Expert knowledge of relationship database development and management.

Expert organizational skills.

Experience adapting to changing priorities and simultaneous activities.

Experience working independently with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Expert written, oral, and presentation skills.

Experience cultivating collaborative cross-functional interactions.

Preferred Requirements, Special Skills or Knowledge :

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Essential Functions :

Must be able to lift 25 pounds.

Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.

Must have excellent concentration ability.
