    Lab Technician (Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics Faculty) Job Profile Title
    Technician, Research Laboratory C Job Description Summary
    Seeking entry level technician to assist with experiments related to the role of alternative splicing in innate immunity and viral inhibition. Work will include preparing and analyzing RNA from cells at various stages of immune sensing using RT-PCR to assess splicing. Position contingent on continued grant funding. Job Description Job Responsibilities
    • Carry out RT-PCR and cell based assays on alternative splicing
    • Prepare RNA from Cell samples
    • Perform routine Cell culture work
    • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor of Science and 0 to 1 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
