    Position Purpose


    The Senior Director, Product Marketing is responsible for managing AvaSure's strategic product roadmap, product development, product launch, and product marketing in order to gain maximum benefit from each product.

    They will direct and oversee all aspects of product life cycle management including understanding market demands, technology trends, and the competitive field.

    Education & Experience

    Fantastic storytelling skills and ability to communicate and translate technical issues to business values.
    Demonstrated experience writing blogs, delivering webinars, presenting to customers, analysts and media.
    At least 8+ years of product marketing or go-to-market experience.
    Previous success crafting compelling positioning and marketing content.
    Certified in Product Marketing from the Pragmatic Institute (a plus, but not a requirement).
    Experience working with engineering teams and the ability to translate from customers to engineers (and vice versa).
    Proven ability to define and communicate using data to define and target high propensity customer segments.
    8+ years of experience in enterprise marketing.
    Proven success developing and executing go-to-market plans in healthcare.
    Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, business acumen and proven ability to create senior management-level presentations.

    Responsibilities & Essential Functions


    Work closely with product managerment as they develop the technology roadmap to identify key value drivers that have GTM implications.

    Deliver external marketing communications across all sales channels.
    Build and lead product marketing and oversee messaging and positioning and competitive product marketing.
    Run customer research and insights program to identify and segment target customers.
    Oversee the development of product messaging and content across platforms.

    Work closely with Customer Experience to monitor product feedback and improve overall customer satisfaction and align with Customer Advisory groups on priorities and feedback on messaging, engagement strategy and roadmap.

    Proactively collaborate across all marketing teams including demand generation, creative services, corporate communications, web/digital and beyond.
    Provide support to the sales team through complex sales processes.
    Create compelling marketing collateral that simplifies a complex topic while driving broad awareness and interest.

    Understand and document our buyer's process, including where they get information, and the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make.

    Budgeting P&L for product launches/maintenance, personnel headcount, marketing campaigns, etc.
    Brief analysts and partners on solution offerings.
    Become an advocate for the AvaSure brand to ensure all marketing activities are aligned and support the overall brand.
    Partner with product, sales and marketing teams on several key solutions within the Marketing portfolio.

    Competencies & Work Style

    Prior experience with go-to-market strategy at a high-growth, healthtech company.

    Superior communication skills - ability to prioritize and efficiently and transparently communicate marketing goals and results at a team, executive, and company level.

    A demonstrated history of being a team player.
    Experience partnering closely with product and sales leadership.

    Supervisory Requirements

    Build and lead product marketing team.

    Work Environment & Physical Demands

    Must be able to sit/stand or walk for much of the workday depending on the work week
    Must be able to work in a home office or office environment.
    There is overnight travel associated with this position, both by car and plane.
    This position is full-time.
    The position is remote within the U.S. when not traveling.
