As a strategic media relations support lead within the Products and Services Communications Organization, you will engage media, thought leaders, and influencers to build strong relationships, deliver compelling stories, and amplify the value and differentiation of HP's products and services.

You will enhance HP's brand reputation, drive market awareness, shape industry conversations, and foster thought leadership.
Responsibilities

  • Collaborates across teams to support integrated communications programs with Corporate Affairs, Marketing, Business Units and support functions.
  • Drafts press releases, story pitches, and authored content that connects themes to proactive media, social and influencer campaigns.
  • Supports the development of highimpact, creative and scalable content in support of editorial strategy across earned, owned and social platforms.
  • Develops and executes communications plans and materials in support of product news and launch activities.
  • Supports media and influencer relations with research, media pitches, social copy, briefing prep materials and produce coverage reports.

Education & Experience

  • BA or BS in Communications, Marketing or Business Administration.
  • 3+ years of work experience in communications, journalism, or marketing.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Understands the evolving media landscape and newsworthy storytelling
  • Superior storytelling, writing and editing skills; strong oral communications skills and ability to convey complex ideas.
  • Superior organization and program management skills within fastpaced and demanding environment.
  • A relentless focus on the details.
  • Ability to link communications plans and activities to business results.
  • High levels of tact and diplomacy.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the company top to bottom, including senior company management.
  • Flexible, nimble, and able to thrive within a growing and evolving organization.
  • Collaborative in nature.
  • Proficient in Microsoft (PPT, Word, Excel) & Collaboration platforms (Teams, Zoom), SmartSheets
