The Role

At Doncasters we have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join our team in Springfield, MA.

Doncasters is a leading international manufacturer of specialist superalloys and high–precision alloy components made for the most demanding conditions with manufacturing facilities in Europe, USA Mexico, China, and India.

The Quality Assurance Engineer will support the organization in all aspects of developing and managing an effective quality management system that is accredited to ISO9001, AS9100, AS13100, NADCAP, and other major customer standards.

The Role:

Maintain, create, modify, and revise quality documentation in line with Company, industry and/or customer requirements including specifications, third party documents, standard operating procedures, work instructions and the Quality Manual.

Manage and work with customer's concerns/issues that may arise regarding non-conformances (SCAR's, NCR's, RMA's etc) and or process improvements.

Work with Engineering to capture customer requirements and flow downs in the form of test sheets, manufacturing process plans, process approval records and/or other forms of fixed process documentation.

Conduct internal audits as required by accreditations and customers.

Lead customer on site audits

Manage suppliers and further develop supplier program.

Work with Quality Tech's in recording, monitoring, and controlling non-conformances that arise to the point of robust corrective action/preventative action implementation.
