    SUMMARY OF POSITION

    Oversee, coordinate, and implement planning, organizing, training, and leadership to achieve objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest experience, cleanliness, and sanitation. Manage key restaurant operations, staff, procedures for efficiency, and financial performance.



    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Understand company policies, procedures, standards, and training programs.
    • Maintain expert level understanding of company systems including Google Office, Point Of Sale, Online Portals, Reporting Systems, Plate IQ, Adobe InDesign.
    • Ensure guests receive responsive, friendly, and courteous service.
    • Work with managers to maintain food and beverage standards.
    • Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance, sanitation, and cleanliness.
    • Maintain budget in labor and operation costs.
    • Control cash handling procedures.
    • Provide orientation and training to employees.
    • Direct and manage staff effectively, oversee performance appraisals.
    • Assist in service roles as needed.
    • Purchase and manage inventory and supplies.
    • Create and maintain staff schedules.
    • Ensure equipment is in excellent working condition.
    • Oversee special projects and events.
    • Recruit and make employment decisions.
    • Enforce company policies and regulations.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    • 3-5 years of varied restaurant leadership experience.
    • Minimum 1 year in a General Manager role.
    • Effective communication skills.
    • Knowledge of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free cuisine.
    • Understanding of craft cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
    • Familiarity with culinary processes and presentation.
    • Knowledgeable in labor laws and computer systems.
    • Experience in budget oversight and management.
    • Organized, flexible, and open to feedback.
    • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
