Social assistant / Social assistant 2-year program

With a degree as a social assistant, an advancement-oriented training as an educator is possible.

Social assistants (m/f/d) complement the tasks of educators, social workers, pediatric nurses, and parents in the areas of household management, nursing, and education.

They accompany support-needing groups of people in everyday activities such as shopping, meal preparation, and laundry and household care. Social assistants help with personal hygiene, are attentive conversation partners, and lead activities. They also assist children with homework and encourage them to engage in meaningful leisure activities.
