For our prestigious client at Hamilton College, NY, we are currently seeking a skilled (m/f/d) occupational safety specialist for 20 hours per week

Your responsibilities:

Advising site management, executives, and employees on safetyrelated issues regarding occupational and environmental protection, as well as fire safety in the workplace
Assisting in the design of workstations, work processes, and work environments
Monitoring compliance with legal, company, and other requirements regarding occupational safety, fire safety, and environmental protection
Planning and coordinating the implementation of all necessary organizational and technical measures for occupational health and safety, environmental protection, and accident prevention
Providing information and training to employees and executives in the aforementioned areas of responsibility
Assessing working conditions, hazards, risks, and designing work processes, as well as supporting occupational health management
Providing support at customer sites in the Thuringia and Saxony regions

Your qualifications:

Ideally, a completed degree in engineering or a completed training as a statecertified technician or master craftsman with relevant professional experience, as well as completed training as an occupational safety specialist
Indepth knowledge of occupational safety, fire safety, and environmental protection, as well as health protection
Problemsolving and practical work style, as well as structured approach and high selfmotivation
Strong communication skills, analytical and technical proficiency, and a good sense for people and mechanisms
High sense of responsibility and assertiveness
