- Responsible for the PPAP, Control Plans and GR&R for their respective areas.
- Support FMEA development as part of cross-functional team.
- Perform root cause analysis and transform the analysis into the appropriate records,
- Perform Measurement System Analysis including calibration records.
- Address quality rejects and customer returned material.
- Application of statistical techniques and assistance to others as required.
- Track progress of Advanced Quality Planning activities.
- Manage Document Control and Released Document Databases.
- Monitor and help control scrap; including pareto and corrective action analysis.
- Monitor, analyze and report on facility key indicators and associated improvement action
- Assist in supplier development as required.
- Assist with process improvements and data analysis.
- Support continuous improvement activities.
- Conduct process capability studies and quality audits.

Job PurposeThe Quality Engineers shall ensure the overall quality of manufactured products.
Responsible for quality audits, monitor quality standards, create documentation, collaborate with Engineering to devise quality tests, and define the criteria a test result should meet.
Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:

Skills Required:
o Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, preferably in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering with - 5 years of relevant experience or an Associates degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial or Mechanical engineering with 5-10 years of relevant experience required.
o ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, with experience in the automotive industry preferred.
o Demonstrated competence in Quality related statistics.
o Certified Quality Auditor for ISO 9001/IATF-16949 preferred or attained within one year of hire/placement.
o Experience with FMEA, Process Control Plans, Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions.
o Must be capable of performing duties with limited supervision.
o Ability to work in fast paced environment.
