Our client is a leader in metal products manufacturing.
They have hired us to seek out a Quality Engineer for their Morgantown, PA location.
This position is responsible for working closely with manufacturing, quality, and purchasing personnel to control and improve product quality.
The ideal candidate will have experience:
Leading and supporting initiatives to enhance manufacturing operations, control systems, and process instrumentation, while overseeing cost optimization and improvement programs.
Investigating customer quality concerns, introducing quality control measures (SPC) for vital parameters and emerging technologies, and supporting quality aspects of new product and process development.
Maintaining and reporting on quality metrics.Qualifications include:
BS Degree in EngineeringMetals industry experienceMinitab or other statistical software experience
